Clinical Aromatherapy Therapy Scotland

Our mind, emotions and moods are influenced by many different types of aromas. When essential oils are inhaled they have an effect on the olfactory system, which links a direct pathway to our sense of smell and part of the brain. This encourages positive behaviour, moods, emotions and thoughts, helping to alleviate symptoms of stress.

In this treatment the client chooses the oils that they enjoy the most, this choice can signify certain factors such as: personality, mental and emotional needs. A blend of aromatherapy oils is mixed and applied via face, neck and shoulder massage and facial acupressure points. The oils are then subtly pulled through the energy field enhancing the inhalation influence, providing a therapeutic treatment on the whole body. The blend is then taken home for the client to enjoy.
